This Weeks Homework

This weeks lesson was in 3 parts (part one was all reading, 2 and 3 were lessons). We went over Display, which covered the classification of the elements. We covered Block Level elements, which consist of paragraphs, headings, lists, tables, div and body. Block level elements are displayed or begin on a line by themselves. We covered inline elements which consist of a, em, span and most replaced elements such as images and form inputs. The inline elements do not force anything to start on a new line. Finally List-item. These are designed to have a presentation marker of some sort which consists of either a bullet, number or a letter.

We also went over the Tanek Celik Hack. In order to understand how a hack works you will need to understand the box model. A thorough understanding of the box model is extremely necessary for working with css.

This first week was an extensive lesson covering many things. It would be easier to post here the links to the information to read then to put all the information from my notes in here.

CSS Links!!!

For a long time now I have been planning on placing links to great CSS information in one place online to make it easier to access the information. Doing this weeks homework has given me the incentive to place at least some of the links online for people to access. As time permits, I will be adding more things to the list below.
